Applying For A Vacancy
You can view advertised vacancies by clicking on the search button in the Quick Job Search section opposite on this page. You can view vacancies before you register.
To apply for a vacancy you must register first then return to the particular vacancy advertised and follow the instructions.
If you wish to apply for more than one position you must submit an application for each position.
Please note that once you make your application you will not be able to reopen your application, make any changes or additions (eg. CV or cover letter) so please have these ready prior to completing your application.
You will receive an email notification advising you that your application has been received. If you do not receive this notification, your application may not have been successfully submitted.

Your details
Your registration details are retained for future applications. If you do not revisit the site for 12 months your details will be removed.
We will retain applications and any material (eg CVs) associated with assessing candidate suitability for each position for a period of 90 days after an appointment is made, after which time the information will be destroyed.
Criminal Record information
ESR requires you to disclose on your application any criminal charges/proceedings pending or under investigation AND all criminal convictions (unless they are covered by the Criminal Records (Clean Slate Act) 2004).
A criminal convictions check carried out by the Ministry of Justice is a condition of employment for all positions.
If you are unsure what constitutes criminal charges, proceedings or convictions, or would like more information about what you are required to disclose please seek legal advice. PSA members can approach their delegate or organiser for advice.
Note: The declaration of a minor offence does not mean that employment will not be granted. However, the non-declaration of an offence that you are required to disclose will be seen as a misrepresentation of a criminal record and treated accordingly.
Further information relevant to potential employment may be sought during the selection process.
